MY STORY

After years of working in highly stressful jobs, my health started to suffer. I struggled with digestive issues, hormonal imbalances and anxiety for many years believing it to be 'the norm'. I often pushed myself too hard at the gym and restricted my diet to try to make myself feel better but, in reality, I was running myself into the ground. It was when I started to make changes to my nutrition and lifestyle that I discovered the tools to transform my health and wellbeing and began nourishing my body and mind properly.

I truly believe that the key to achieving your best self is listening to your body. It often has the answers; we just aren't always very good at listening!

I grew up on an organic farm in the Wiltshire countryside so have always been interested in good food. But it was through my own health journey that I became fascinated by the power of food and lifestyle to heal the body. That was when I decided to study for 3 years at the prestigious College of Naturopathic Medicine, and graduated with a distinction in Nutritional Therapy. My training included 200 hours of clinical experience.

I'm registered with the BANT (British Association of Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine) and the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council). I continually attend CPD training to further my expertise and keep abreast of the fast moving field of nutritional science.

Outside of my work I'm a Mum and a passionate foodie, although very much a 'home cook' and not a chef! I love living an active lifestyle and being out in nature but equally love to curl up with a great boxset!

You'll often find me at a local park with my two young children and our bouncy cocker spaniel, Roxy- trying to look like I have it all under control!
